Car Insurance Daewoo (Car Insurance). Sail boat neeeedddd yyyyyoooouuuurrr hheeeeellllpppp!!!!?

Sail boat neeeedddd yyyyyoooouuuurrr hheeeeellllpppp!!!!? I am looking for a sail boat that has a reasonable price. I want a 13-15 tops for length. I have been looking around but really haven't had any luck. I can easily sail a sunfish by myself. I live on a small lake but we get decent wind. I am inexperienced in buying sail boats so I could use your help. Please post a lik or suggest a type of sail boat. Thank you.

if you are looking for a monohull sailboat then you can take a look at some very popular classes like the lazer, snipe, hobie holder 14, smaller o'day sailboats, 470, 420, etc. I suggest moving up to a Hobie Cat Lido 14 would be a perfect starter boat for someone learning to sail. Old boat built solid and lasts forever. Cat boats like a Hobie are ok, but a Lido is easier for a new sailor. Happy sailing.

My hyundai sonata is not shifting correctly, won't go into Drive at all. What could it be? It drove fine all day. I stopped at a store to get drinks turned the car on, backed up and then tried to put the car in Drive and it wouldn't go. If you start from Park and try to change gears down it will say it is in Park when it is in Reverse and Reverse when it is in Neutral and, and Neutral when it is in drive, won't go into drive at all. When you shift back up from Drive, Drive will be Neutral, Neutral will be Neutral, Reverse will be Reverse and Park will be Park. Any ideas? car insurance.

Daewoo . How To Change Brake Oil

Brake fluid should be changed at any time that the fluid shows evidence of moisture contamination. This can be recognized by a brownish color of the fluid. When this happens, the contamination causes rusting of the wheel cylinders and calipers and a residue buildup that can cause the brake system to malfunction. The malfunction is usually in the form of locking up to the point that the brakes will not release.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Suction ball Set of wrenches Floor jack Jack stands 1 quart of brake fluid Drip pan

Step by Step :
1
Raise and support the rear of the vehicle on jack stands. Raise the vehicle's hood. Remove the brake master cylinder cap and use the suction ball to remove all the fluid possible from the reservoir. Fill with new brake fluid.
2
Place the drip pan under the passenger side rear wheel. Using a wrench, loosen the bleeder screw on the rear brake. Have a helper push down the brake pedal and hold it down while the rear brake bleeder is closed. Once the brake bleeder is closed, have the helper allow the brake to rise. The only time the helper should push the brake to the floor is when the bleeder is open. He must not let the pedal up until the bleeder is closed or the rising pedal will suck air into the system causing spongy or very low brakes when done. Repeat this procedure for five repetitions on the same wheel and then move to the left rear and do the same.
3
Check and add brake fluid after every two to three repetitions. Do not let the master cylinder go dry or air can be sucked into the system.
4
Lower the vehicle and repeat from Step 1 for the front brakes, starting with the right front wheel and then moving to the left.
5
Check and fill the master cylinder as necessary.

Daewoo . How to Change Brakes on a BMW

The brakes on your BMW perform the most important safety function on your vehicle, so it's important that you keep an eye on pad wear and change them when necessary. Usually, this means that the pads will need to be replaced when they are 1/8" thick. However, anytime you notice vibration in the steering wheel when you press on the brake pedal, or if you hear a loud metallic scraping sound, you should check and replace your BMW's brake pads.
Difficulty:Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Tire wrench Jack with jack stands Zip ties C-clamp Torque wrench Rubber mallet

Step by Step :
1
Loosen the lug nuts on both front wheels by turning them 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
2
Raise the BMW up using the floor jack. Jack under the front jack point.
3
Place jack stands underneath the pinch welds of the BMW and lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.
4
Finish loosening the lug nuts and take the wheel off.
5
Unbolt the top and bottom brake caliper mounting bolts on the BMW and secure the caliper to the coil spring above the brake assembly with the zip ties.
6
Remove the brake pads by taping them out with a rubber mallet.
7
Place the face of the brake pad over the caliper piston and then place the c-clamp over the back of the brake pad and caliper assembly. Gently force the caliper piston back into the caliper by tightening the c-clamp.
8
Insert the new pads and reassemble the brake system. Installation is the reverse of removal.
9
Repeat steps 4 - 8 with the other front wheel.

Step by Step :
10
Put the wheels back on, tighten the lug nuts and lower the vehicle. Torque the lug nuts to 100 foot-lbs once the wheel is back on the ground.

Step by Step :
11
Raise the rear of the BMW using the rear jack point and place the jack stands under the pinch welds in the rear of the vehicle.

Step by Step :
12
Lower the vehicle onto the jack stands and then repeat steps 4 - 8 for the rear wheels.

Step by Step :
13
Put the wheels back on, tighten the lug nuts, and lower the rear of the vehicle. Then, tighten the lug nuts to 100 foot-lbs.

The clutch You use the clutch when you start, stop, and shift gears. In each case, you step on the clutch pedal with your left foot to disengage the clutch disk from the flywheel so that the engine's crankshaft can turn independently of the transmission's input shaft. Otherwise, if you attempted to shift gears without using the clutch, the gears in the transmission would rotate at different speeds and would clash and break their teeth. The clutch consists of several major parts, each of which is listed here (refer to Figure 9-1 to see where these parts are). The section "Taking Care of Your Clutch" in Chapter 17 provides instructions for dealing with many of them. The clutch pedal is located on the floor of the car to the left of the brake pedal. The clutch pedal is connected to the clutch release lever via linkage. Sometimes a cable is used; most newer cars use hydraulic components. Chapter 9: Take the Drive Train: Understanding Transmissions... 17 3 0 The clutch disk, as you saw in the earlier drive train section, moves back and forth to connect and disconnect the engine from the transmission. 415 Car Insurance 1997 isuzu 253208

0 The clutch pressure plate clamps the clutch disk against the engine's flywheel when the clutch pedal is not applied. The pressure plate releases its force and pulls away from the clutch disk when you depress the clutch pedal. 0 The throw-out bearing is linked to the clutch pedal and activates the release levers that move the pressure plate back and forth. After you have the engine going at its new speed (or going at all), you release the clutch pedal to bring the clutch disk into contact with the flywheel again. The friction material on the clutch disk causes them to grab each other lovingly and turn at the same rate once more. The gears The transmission contains the gears and responds to messages from the gearshift and the clutch. The gears are actually metal wheels with notches on the rims that allow them to mesh with one another (see Figure 9-4). Originally, the gears in most manual transmissions were moved into and out of mesh with each other by the gearshift lever. In modern vehicles, the gears are always in mesh and only the synchronizers move, causing a change in power flow.

The number of gear wheels in the transmission depends on the number of forward speeds the vehicle has. An additional gear reverses the direction of power so that your car can move backward. This Reverse gear works in conjunction with the lowest gear. Because you must bring a vehicle to a stop before you back up and because you rarely want to hit high speeds in Reverse, the Low gear provides the power to overcome inertia and get the car moving again in the "wrong" direction. That's why your car usually moves backward fairly slowly but with a good deal of power. How a manual transmission u/orks Generally speaking, the faster your engine runs, the more power it puts out. If you need extra power to get your car up a hill — or to overcome inertia and just get that heavy monster moving in the first place — your engine must run faster than it runs simply to maintain speed after your vehicle is on the road. Low gears supply that power by making your wheels turn at a slower rate than your engine does. 174 Part II: What Makes It Go? High gear transmission. Figure 9-5 shows a large gear placed next to a small gear so that their teeth mesh. If the large gear has 30 teeth and the small gear has 10, the large gear turns once to every three turns of the small gear. In other words, the large gear turns only a third of the way around for every complete revolution of the small gear. The gears in your transmission work on this principle, which is called a 3:1 gear ratio. As you can see back in Figures 9-1 and 9-4, the turning drive train brings a gear into contact with other gears of different sizes. That's why the transmission input shaft that runs between the engine and the transmission turns at the same rate of speed as the engine, but the Chapter 9: Take the Drive Train: Understanding Transmissions... 1 7C transmission output shaft that leaves the transmission and carries the power via the driveshaft and differential to the rear wheels turns at a different rate, depending on which gears in the transmission are engaged. (If you're feeling mind-boggled, reread Steps 5 through 10 in "How the power flows through the drive train" earlier in this chapter.) Figure 9-5: 3:1 gear ratio: A gear with 10 teeth will have rotated completely when a 30-tooth gear has traveled only a third of the way

around. Now take a closer look at what goes on when you shift into each gear. In Low gear, the gears in the transmission make the driveshaft (and therefore the wheels) turn more slowly than the engine. In fact, the driveshaft may turn only once for every, four engine revolutions. All the power of the swiftly running engine is channeled into those few turns. The wheels turn more slowly, but they have more power to put into each turn, so your car can start, climb a hill, or pull a trailer. Not only does the engine run faster, but you also have the mechanical advantage of the big gear providing more leverage by turning slowly but with more force. In Second gear, the engine turns more slowly than it did in Low, putting out less power but more speed because the wheels can turn more quickly. In this gear, the driveshaft may turn once for every two engine revolutions, or twice as fast as in Low gear. In High gear, the gear ratio can drop to around 1:1, which means that the engine and the driveshaft turn at relatively the same rate of speed. The wheels can go very fast; yet the engine doesn't put out additional power to produce that speed. Because you've overcome inertia by the time you shift into high gear and generally have nothing more to contend with than wind
